HOSTED BY INSIDE HIGHER ED
In the summer of 2022 Monroe Community College, a member of the State University of New York System (SUNY), faced the challenging task of migrating its courses to Brightspace, replacing thousands of video file links from Ensemble to Yuja, and then archiving over 40,000 of their historical courses and student submissions. MCC faced a tight deadline and wanted to be sure faculty and students were working out of the new system by August 2022, making this project even more complex.
The Virtual Campus team at Monroe Community College knew that it would be extremely challenging for faculty to both learn the new LMS and migrate their courses in such a short timeline. Luckily, they found an automated solution to migrate their course content and replace their video file links, plus an archiving solution that integrated with Brightspace, making all their data immediately accessible and readable.
