More than 20,000 SDSU students receive federal aid, and Title IV requires documented engagement for every one of them. The problem was structural: enrollment flowed from PeopleSoft into Canvas, and submissions, quiz completions, discussion activity, and Zoom attendance had no automated path back.
DataX extracted from both Canvas's API layer and its front end, standardized the activity into a single engagement indicator, and published it back into PeopleSoft as a faculty-facing roster that could be reviewed, certified, and submitted.
